Reflection.
1. Describe: What is your project? What materials did you use to make it? How long did it take you to make?
- I did portait photography. I used my Canon Rebel camera, a violet tinted filter, and the outdoors. It took about a month to take all the pictures and get them edited and onto the computer.
2.Evaluate: What are the good / strong parts of your project? What is done well and why?
- I think the good and storng parts of my project are my angles and the way I used nature and outside surroundings for backgrounds because it gives everything a more natural look and feel and emphasizes their clothing and outfit choices.
3. Evaluate: What do you think you could have done better on this project and why?___.
- I think i couldve taken alot less time getting everything uploaded onto my computer and getting everything edited because it took me a long time to get them editied because i had to work and my card reader wasnt working at the time.
4. Describe the attributes of your theme / unity: What is the deeper meaning of the project? What are you trying to communicate? What details did you use to reflect that theme?
- My unity would be that all the pictures are Portaits. Theres not much of a deeper meaning other than they wanted me to do their senior pictures.
5. Describe the important elements used in your design: What are the important elements? Why do you believe those are the most important?
- I would have to say Line and Shape are the important elements in this project because they play a big part in how the pictures turn out. If you dont use your shapes and lines correctly you can end up with really terrible pictures.
6. Describe the important principles used in your design: What are the important principles? Why do you believe those are the most important?
-Emphasis and Contrast are the most important principles in this project because I had to use emphasis to make the picture look better and contrast to emphasize the picture even more.
7. Metacognate: What did you learn from this project that you could apply to other projects in the future? What lessons could be applied to life in general? Why?
-I learned that taking natural pictures can be harder or easier depending on the model, and that weather is a major factor if you doing an outside shoot. bailey and I had to do multiple different shoots because of the heat or the wind. I can apply that to life by doing things outside, if I want to do something it will depend on the weather.
